Itacaré - Bahia - Brazil
One of the most famous beach destinations in Bahia, but it is not just another beautiful beach, among so many beautiful beaches that Bahia has, Itacaré is a perfect set, with preserved Atlantic forest, crystal clear sea, beautiful strips of sand on the edge -mar that attract visitors throughout the year.
Surrounded by a beautiful strip of forest, Itacaré also presents visitors with waterfalls, rivers that allow different walks and adventures outside the sea.
The prevailing tourism in the region is totally focused on nature, whether in the practice of sports, such as: Surf, Stand Up Paddle, Tree climbing, Tyrolean, Canoe Hawaiian, Rappel, Horseback riding, Diving, Kite surfing, Rafting in the canyon of Rio de Contas or on beautiful trails amid well-preserved nature.
The city is south of Salvador and about 70 km from Ilhéus airport, with flights from the main airlines, coming from Brasilia, São Paulo, Campinas and Belo Horizonte.
Then you should go by car, transfer, uber or taxi on BA-001, an ecologically correct highway with an approximate duration of 01: 30hs.
Another option is to disembark at Salvador International Airport, which is 250 km away.
The trip to Itacaré can be done by two options:
1 - By the same BA-001, with an approximate duration of 04: 30hs, via Ferery Boat .
2 - Via BR-324 with an approximate duration of 07:00 am. (Attention: large movement of heavy vehicles on this highway).
